I worry there is something broken in our generation, there are so many sad eyes on happy faces” a beautiful quote by Atticus which found its way in the starting of Adamsiraj’s motivational speech, and with this we present the third installment of Sharda Talk featuring Adamsiraj, who shares his views on “Perturbation Amongst Youth”. Adamsiraj believes that there are three major problems faced by the youth of our nation, first being the Education system, second Freedom of choosing our own profession and last but not the least Freedom of choosing our life partner. Starting with the first issue he speaks that our society still follows Macaulay system of education which according to him produces slaves and has never motivated us to produce leaders. He speaks that how in the world where we are coming up with new innovating ideas everyday, in a world where we have even reached mars, we still follow the same old education system in our society which brings nothing but peer pressure, anxiety and depression in a child’s life. Coming to choosing a profession he boldly speaks that we are slaves of around 4 major professions, continuing that we are still living in a society which believes that engineering, doctor, law and CA are the only respectable courses as well as professions in India and a student who’ll think otherwise would be considered as illogical and mad. And then finally coming to freedom of choosing a life partner Admasiraj beautifully explains that how in India arrange marriages are mostly compromises between two people, and how still love marriages are considered to be taboo. He speaks how there are more number of divorces in India as compared to the number of honor killings. And at the end he leaves us with a motivating question in mind, why is it so difficult for the society to accept two people who are in love with one another to come together in a sacred bond of marriage…..
